(And knowing when you are ready for one.)

You might have heard the term “Virtual Assistant” mentioned recently; but what exactly is a Virtual Assistant? Think of this is a behind-the-scenes partner who comes along side with business owners to help their business run smoothly so they can focus on what they do best.
I work primarily with therapists and small business owners; people who started their work to help others, not to drown in paperwork and emails. If that sounds like you, you’re in the right place.
Myth vs. Reality
Many people think a virtual assistant (VA) is just someone who answers emails. But this role has evolved into much more than just answering emails. The role of a VA goes deeper; it can include being your support system, keeping your business organized, and most importantly, problem solving.
A typical day might look like: responding to new client inquiries, updating calendars, sending out invoices, creating documents, or updating your website. These can be small tasks on their own, but together they make your day flow easier.
What a Virtual Assistant Can Help With
Here are a few areas I focus on:
Email management: organizing inboxes; responding to client inquiries, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks
Billing: keeping track of payments and sending out invoices
Calendar management: scheduling appointments and updating calendars
Document creation: creating polished templates, PowerPoint presentations and SOPs
Social Media Scheduling: creating graphics and scheduling posts
Website Updates: small tweaks to keep it up to date
Why It's Worth It
When the chaos of admin work is offloaded, you can put your effort into the work that matters most, which could be meeting with clients, growing your practice or simply having a moment to breathe.
Signs You're Ready for a VA
So, when do you know if you are ready for a VA? If you are:
Turning down new clients because you are overwhelmed with managing your business.
Missing deadlines or forgetting tasks.
Spending too much time managing business tasks than doing the work you love.
Hiring help is strategic and can be a benefit to your business. If you’re curious how virtual assistance could look specifically for your business, take a look at my Services page. I’d be glad to help you bring structure, calm, and consistency to your everyday.
